Shipping & Returns Policies

Thank you for choosing BlackYak Customs. Because many of our products are handcrafted or built to order, we want to ensure you have a clear understanding of how we get our gear from our workshop to your door.

1. Shipping Policy

Production & Processing Times

Ready-to-Ship Items: Orders for in-stock products are typically processed and shipped within 1-3 business days for non-customized orders.
Custom Orders: Since custom work is made to your specifications, lead times vary. Please refer to the specific product page for current estimated build times. We offer standard production time included in our pricing, which generally will be processed in 5-10 business days. We also offer Rush Production on all orders which shortens the production time down to 2-3 business days for a fee that is calculated when ordering.
We do not ship on weekends or holidays.

Domestic Shipping (USA)

We ship via Fedex, UPS, Ontrac and USPS, depending upon your location
Standard shipping usually takes 1-5 business days once the item has left our facility.
Free Shipping: We offer free standard shipping on all domestic orders.
Rush/Expedited Shipping: We offer expedited shipping options on all orders. We can deliver as fast as you need. The checkout page will offer options for delivery times depending on your location. Need it faster? Just ask! We can turn around most any order in as little as 48 hours, delivered to your door.

International Shipping

We currently ship to most international countries. When ordering, our checkout page will offer different options for transit time based upon your needs. Need it faster? Just ask. We can deliver as fast as you need.
International customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes incurred upon arrival.

Order Tracking Once your order ships, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to update.

2. Returns & Exchanges

At BlackYak Customs, we take pride in the quality of our work. Because of the nature of custom manufacturing, our return policy is as follows:

Custom & Personalized Orders

All sales are final on custom-built items. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on products that were built to your specific dimensions, colors, or personalized specifications unless there is a manufacturing defect on our part, in which case we would replace the item for you.

Standard (Non-Custom) Items

Items that are "Ready-to-Ship" or non-customized may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Damaged or Defective Items: If your order arrives damaged during transit or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us immediately at support@blackyakcustoms.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We will make it right by repairing or replacing the item at no cost to you.

3. How to Start a Return

Email us at support@blackyakcustoms.com with your order number and reason for return.
If approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.

4. Cancellations

Standard Orders: Can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, but may not be guaranteed. If the order has already been picked up by the courier, we may not be able to cancel the order.
Custom Orders: Once production has begun for your custom project, cancellations may be subject to a 25% restocking/material fee if the order is not cancelled within 24 hours of being placed.
